But here’s the kicker—my supervisor was uninterested in my ideas for improvement and confined our communication to the bare minimum. Frustrated, I left, and just a month later, the hotel temporarily closed due to those very staffing challenges. This pivotal moment taught me the undeniable power of engaging every employee in meaningful communication and collaboration. It underscored that engaged, dedicated employees are the heartbeat of any successful business.
